Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge and Indicator

IMPORTANT: Prevent possible engine damage. Do not stop engine when needle enters red zone or temperature will rise further. Reduce load and run engine at reduced engine speed.

If needle enters red zone, reduce load immediately and run engine at reduced engine speed. If problem continues, inspect for plugged radiator or coolant leakage.

IMPORTANT: Prevent possible engine damage. Do not stop engine when coolant temperature indicator lights or temperature will rise further. Reduce load and run engine at slow idle. If temperature indicator continues to stay on, shut engine off.

Red indicator will light and buzzer will sound when the engine coolant overheats. Reduce load immediately and run engine at slow idle. Inspect for debris around radiator, clogged radiator core, debris on back of fan guard, and loose fan belts. Also check for low coolant level.
