Adjusting Operator's Seat
CAUTION:
You can lose control of machine and be injured if seat is loose or not adjusted properly. Be sure seat is properly locked in the correct position before operating the machine.
Operator's seat is equipped with an adjustable air suspension system. Additionally, the seat has height adjustment, seatback angle adjustment, forward and backward position adjustment, and adjustable lumbar support. The right-hand armrest and left-hand armrest (on lever steer machine) can be adjusted for height and forward and backward position.
NOTE:
Adjustment mechanism is spring assisted. Make height adjustments while sitting in the seat.
Lift lever (1) to adjust height of seat. There are three height positions. Release lever when desired position has been achieved.
NOTE:
Air suspension system is used to dampen the ride. Do not use air suspension system to raise and lower seat. Insufficient air can cause bottoming out of seat or discomfort due to pinching. Excessive air pressure can tend to push operator forward out of seat and create a stiff ride.
When seat height has been achieved, push knob (4) to activate seat compressor to inflate air bag. Pull knob to release air pressure from air bag.
Rotate knob (2) to adjust seatback angle. Clockwise rotation reclines seatback. Counterclockwise rotation brings seatback forward.
Pull lever (3) to the left to move seat forward or backward. Release lever to lock seat in position.
Rotate knob (5) clockwise to increase lumbar support. Rotate knob counterclockwise to decrease lumbar support.
Loosen knobs (7) to adjust armrest height, tighten knobs when desired position has been achieved.
