Check Hydraulic Oil Level

IMPORTANT: DO NOT start engine without oil in hydraulic tank to prevent pump damage.

1. Park machine on level surface. Position machine with cylinders retracted.

2. Move park brake switch to ON to engage park brake.

IMPORTANT: Turbocharger may be damaged if engine is not properly shut down.

3. Run engine at 1/2 speed for 2 minutes before stopping to avoid damage to turbocharger.

4. Move engine speed control knob to slow idle position.

5. Turn key switch OFF. Remove key from switch

6. When oil is cold, oil level must be to middle of sight glass (A).

7. Add oil when oil level is at or below sight glass (B) until oil level is at sight glass (A).

8. If necessary, remove filler cap (1) to add oil. (See Fuels and Lubricants chapter.)
