Replace Hydrostatic Transmission Filter

1. Turn filter (1) counterclockwise to remove.

2. Clean mounting surface. Apply thin film of oil to gasket of new filter.

NOTE: Use filter wrench to obtain proper sealing.

3. Install new filter. Tighten filter 3/4-1 full turn using a wrench after seal contacts mounting base.

4. Start engine. Check for leaks around the filter base. Tighten filter only enough to stop leaks.

5. Stop engine. Check oil level at sight glass.

6. Tighten fill cap.
