Change Pump Drive Gearbox Oil

2. Remove dipstick (A).

3. Remove clamp from around dipstick filler tube and remove fitting at bottom end of tube.

4. Allow oil to drain into a container. Dispose of waste oil properly.

5. Install fitting and clamp.

6. Add oil. (See Fuels and Lubricants chapter.) The pump drive gearbox oil capacity is 4.7 L (5 qt). Install dipstick.

7. Check oil level at dipstick. (See Maintenance-Every 500 Hours chapter.)

8. Install side shield.
