Inspect Machine Daily Before Starting
Do periodic service checks in the Maintenance-Every 10 Hours or Daily chapter.
FIRE PREVENTION: Clean engine compartment of debris. Check compartment drains under upper mainframe for any buildup of grease, oil, fuel, or debris.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Check for worn or frayed wires and loose or corroded connections.
FRONT-MOUNTED EQUIPMENT, SHEET METAL, HARDWARE: Check for bent, broken, loose or missing parts.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Check for leaks, missing or loose clamps, kinked hoses, and lines or hoses that rub against each other or other parts.
LUBRICATION: Check lubrication points shown on Periodic Maintenance chart.
PROTECTIVE DEVICES: Check guards, shields, OPS, covers, seat belt, and travel alarm.
SAFETY: Walk around machine to clear all persons from machine area.

1-Check Pedals and Control Levers for Freedom of Movement; Clean Operator's Station
2-Clean Screen and Fins on Radiator, Oil Cooler and Charge Air Cooler (If Equipped)
3-Check Coolant Level at Surge Tank (200 HP Engine)
4-Check Coolant Level at Recovery Tank (170 HP Engine)
5-Check Engine Oil Level
6-Check Hydraulic Reservoir Oil Level
