Check Surge Tank Coolant Level (200 HP Engine)
CAUTION:
Prevent possible injury from hot spraying water. DO NOT remove surge tank filler cap unless engine is cool. Then turn cap slowly to the stop. Release air to relieve all pressure before you remove cap.
1.
Look through view port (3). Coolant should be visible in sight glass (4).
NOTE:
If surge tank coolant level is low, check for leaks on surge tank cap, and hose connections between surge tank and radiator.

If coolant is not visible in sight glass add coolant.
3.
Lift cover (1).
4.
Turn cap (2) slowly to the stop to release air pressure. Remove cap.
5.
Add coolant until coolant is visible in sight glass. Do not overfill.
6.
Replace cap.
