Loading Machine on a Trailer

1. Keep the trailer bed clean.

causym CAUTION: Prevent possible injury or machine damage. Park trailer on a hard, strong surface.

2. Park trailer on a hard surface that will not give way when weight of machine is on trailer.

3. Place chock blocks against truck wheels.

4. Use a ramp or loading dock. Ramps must be strong enough, have a low angle, and correct height.

5. Fasten seat belt before starting engine.

6. Load and unload machine on a level surface.

7. Drive machine onto the ramps slowly.

8. The centerline of the machine should be over the centerline of the trailer.

9. Lower front-mounted equipment onto blocks.

IMPORTANT: Turbocharger may be damaged if engine is not properly shut down.

10. Run engine at 1/2 speed for 2 minutes before stopping to avoid damage to turbocharger.

11. Move engine speed control knob to slow idle position.

12. Turn key switch OFF. Remove key from switch.

13. Turn battery disconnect switch off.

14. Cover exhaust opening to prevent entry of debris, and turbocharger damage.

IMPORTANT: Fasten chains or cables to machine frame. DO NOT put chains or cables over or against hydraulic lines or hoses.

15. Fasten each corner of the machine to the trailer with a chain or cable with appropriate load binder.
