Replace Air Cleaner Elements

Inspect elements when air filter restriction indicator comes on. See Engine Air Filter Restriction Indicator. (Section 2-1.)

(S.N. 882700-): Open hood. See Opening and Closing Engine Hood. (Section 3-2.)

2. Loosen clips (A) to remove air cleaner cover.

IMPORTANT: Remove filter gently to avoid dislodging dust from the filter.

3. Slide primary (B) and secondary (C) elements out to remove.

4. Clean inside of outlet tube.
