John Deere engines are designed to operate using glycol base engine coolants.
Always use a recommended glycol base engine coolant, even when operating in geographical areas where freeze protection is not required.

™
II Premix is available in a concentration of 50% ethylene glycol. However, there are situations in warm temperature climates where a coolant with lower glycol concentration (approximately 20% ethylene glycol) has been approved. In these cases, the low glycol formulation has been modified to provide the same level of corrosion inhibitor as John Deere COOL-GARD II Premix (50/50).

IMPORTANT:
Water may be used as coolant
in emergency situations only.
Foaming, hot surface aluminum and iron corrosion, scaling, and cavitation will occur when water is used as the coolant, even when coolant conditioners are added.
Drain cooling system and refill with recommended glycol base engine coolant as soon as possible.
