Engaging Mower

CAUTION: Stay clear of rotating drivelines:

• Entanglement in rotating driveline can cause serious injury or death.

• Keep hands, feet and clothing away.

• Make sure that all shields are installed and used properly.

• Stop the engine and be sure PTO driveline is stopped before getting near it.

NOTE: Operate engine at full throttle while mowing.

1. Start engine and warm up.

2. Unlock park brake.

3. Lower mower deck to ground.

4. Move throttle forward to full throttle position.

5. Pull up on PTO switch to start mower blades.

6. To disengage mower blades:

   • Move PTO switch to the off position to stop mower blades.
   • Press the master brake pedal. To restart the mower blades, release the master brake, turn off the PTO switch, then turn on the PTO switch. Blades will start.
