Lubricating Mower Blade Spindles

1. Lower mower deck completely to the ground.

2. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the Safety Section.)

   Lubricate the three mower deck spindles through the holes in the belt shield (A, B, and C) using recommended grease.

4. Pump grease gun 6-10 times for each spindle. A small “pop” may be heard as air is forced past the seal. Over-greasing will not cause damage. However, over-greasing is not recommended because grease will be thrown by the blades.
