Lubricating PTO Driveshaft

1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the Safety Section.)

2. Open the service hatch on the machine.

   Rotate the PTO drive shaft by hand until the grease fittings (A) are facing up.

4. Place the grease gun on the grease fitting and pump gun until grease can be seen seeping from the inside of all four bearing caps on the inside of universal joint.

   TCT009573-UN-20FEB14

   Pull up and forward on the rear corners of the PTO driveshaft cover (B) to gain access to the front PTO driveshaft universal joint.

   TCT009574-UN-01DEC13

   Rotate the PTO driveshaft by hand until the grease fitting (C) inside the universal joint is facing upward.

7. Pump grease into the fitting until grease can be seen seeping from the inside of all four bearing caps on the inside of universal joint.

8. Clean any excess grease off universal joints.

9. Pull PTO driveshaft cover back over driveshaft.

10. Close machine service hatch.
