If rake (front-to-rear leveling) is not correct adjust the rear hanger:

    1. Raise the mower deck and lock the lift arm service latches.

    2. Loosen the locknut (A) on the rear hanger.

    3. Remove the retainer ring (B) on the hanger pin (C).

    4. Remove the hanger pin (C) from the adjustment plate (D). Make note of what hole it was removed from.

    5. Turn the hanger pin to adjust the rear hanger:

      • Adjust the rear hanger up to increase rake.
      • Adjust the rear hanger down to decrease the rake.

    6. Insert the hanger pin back into previous hole position from above in adjustment plate (D) and secure with retainer ring.

    7. Repeat the adjustment procedure for the hanger on the other side of the mower.

    8. Lower mower deck and check front-to-rear level. Rotate the blade so it is facing front-to-back on the deck.

      • The blade height must match the cutting height setting for the front tip of the blade.
      • The blade height must be 3—6 mm (1/8—1/4 in.) higher at the rear blade tip.

    9. Repeat steps A through H as necessary.
