Assemble Blower

  1. Remove belt guard (A) and secondary drive belt (B).

  2. TCAL45122

    Loosen bolt (C) on idler pulley.


  3. Install primary tension rod (D), retaining clip (E), spring (F), washer (G), and locknut (H).

  4. NOTE: Use shorter belt for 60 in. mower decks and longer belt for 72 in. mower decks.

    Install primary drive belt (I).

  5. Tighten bolt on idler pulley.

  6. Install, adjust, and tighten secondary drive belt (B).

  7. Install belt guard (A).

    Hex socket head bolt (M) must be installed in this location.

    Install blower boot (J) on the bottom of blower housing (K). Install using six M6x20 carriage bolts (L) and one M6x20 hex socket head bolt (M) with M6 locknuts.

    Attach bracket (N) to blower housing using two M8 locknuts (O) and two M8x20 carriage bolts (P).

    Position front pivot bracket (Q) flush with deck.


  11. Install and tighten three M8x25 carriage bolts and locknuts in locations listed below:

    • 60 in. deck is located front of slot (R).
    • 72 in. deck is location (S).
