Installing Blower

CAUTION: Machine component or attachment is heavy. Use a safe lifting device or get an assistant to help lift, install or remove component or attachment.

NOTE: The blower assembly weighs approximately 32 kg (70 lbs).

  1. Lift discharge chute (A) and locate front mounting bracket (B).

    Insert front pivot pin (C) of blower into front bracket mounting bracket (B). Install quick-lock pin (D) into front pivot pin.

    Swing blower into position and align hole blower bracket (E) with hole in blower support bracket (F). Install carriage bolt (G) and handle assembly (H).

    Parts have been removed to show a clear illustration.

    Use tension lever (F) to allow belt to slip over sheave (G).


  5. Install new blower belt shield for your corresponding deck size.
