Raising and Lowering the Hopper

  1. When hopper is full, disengage PTO.

    CAUTION: Visibility is restricted when backing up machine with MCS installed.

    • Keep bystanders away from machine, especially when backing up.
    • Look behind and around MCS before backing up machine.
    • Stop machine on level ground when emptying MCS.
    • Keep vehicle a safe distance away from edge of drop-offs when unloading MCS.

  2. Drive machine to a safe dump location.

  3. Move switch to the neutral lock position.

  4. Lock park brake.

    CAUTION: Fingers and hands can be pinched or crushed. Be aware of potential pinch points and keep hands away.

    Activate Switch (A) to fully open position.


  6. Unlock park brake.

  7. Drive forward until hopper door is clear of pile of grass clippings.

  8. Close hopper door by activating switch down until the hopper latches and a ratcheting sound is heard.
