Attach Handlebar

  1. NOTE: If Lighting Kit (optional equipment) is to be added to machine, installation prior to handlebar attachment will ease assembly.

    Remove locking hex nuts (A) and washers (B) securing left and right handlebar height adjustment brackets (C) to machine frame.


  2. Remove left and right handlebar brackets.

  3. NOTE: Loosening the right side handlebar pivot bolt in the machine frame will ease handlebar installation.

    Remove locknuts (D) if installed to handlebar pivot bolts (E).


  4. Assemble handlebar (F) onto left and then right side pivot bolts (E). If necessary, loosen pivot bolt in right side frame to install handlebar to bolt.

      Remove three flanged hex nuts (G) securing side cover (H) to right side frame.

    2. Remove side cover for access to handlebar pivot bolt.

    3. Loosen locknut (I) on pivot bolt. Install handlebar (E) over bolt and tighten locknut (I) against side plate securely.

    4. Install side cover (H) and secure with three flange hex nuts (G).

  5. NOTE: Do not over tighten locknuts into handlebar. The handlebar needs to move freely.

    Install locknuts (D) to pivot bolts on left and right sides to secure handlebar to machine. Tighten locknuts as required to eliminate play, but ensure that handlebar pivots freely on bolts.

  6. NOTE: Before tightening fasteners in the following step, ensure that the height adjustment brackets (J) are positioned straight up and down (not at an angle) and that the frame tabs (K) engage the same height adjustment slot on each side of the machine.

    Install left and right handlebar height adjustment brackets to machine rear frame at desired height. Ensure that the height adjustment brackets (J) are straight up and down and that the frame tabs (K) are engaged in same slot in left and right brackets. Secure brackets to frame with locknuts (A) and washers (B). Tighten fasteners securely.
