Adjusting Brake

1. NOTE: Make sure reel clutch is disengaged.

   Check operation of park brake (see Testing Park Brake, in Operating section).

   If adjustment is needed do the following:

   1. Remove bolt (A) and cover (B).

      Loosen jam nuts (C) holding brake cable near the brake.

   3. Shorten ferrule length (D).

   4. Tighten jam nuts (C).

   5. Repeat Step 1.

   6. If still not properly adjusted, replace the brake band.

   7. Install cover and tighten bolt.
