Install Kick Stand (Optional)

    Install kick stand (A) through left side tab (B) on the rear cross brace support.


  2. Install spring on kick stand, with the straight leg (C) pointing down as shown. Push kickstand (A) through right side tab (D).

  3. CAUTION: Avoid injury! Components are installed under spring tension. Wear eye protection and use proper tools when installing and removing components with spring tension.

    Temporarily secure kick stand in raised position (E).


  4. NOTE: Using a pin punch (F) as a guide to rotate and position the spring eyelet over the tapped hole (G) may ease installation of the hex head bolt in the following step.

    Preload the spring by rotating the eyelet 180° over the top of the kickstand shaft and temporarily secure in this position using a vise-grip pliers or other suitable tool.

    Secure the spring to kick stand by installing a M8X16 mm hex head bolt (H) through the spring eyelet into the tapped hole in the kick stand.


  6. Release method used to secure kick stand in raised position in earlier step. Kick stand should remain in raised position.
