Stopping the Engine

  1. Release operator presence bail.

  2. Pull throttle lever all the way back (toward operator). Let engine idle 2-4 minutes to allow engine to cool down.

  3. NOTE: If mower will not be used for a long period, close fuel shut-off valve (A) and allow engine to run until remaining fuel in carburetor is exhausted and engine stops running (engine will continue to running a few minutes).

    Pull run/stop switch back (toward operator) to STOP position.

    Turn fuel shut-off valve (A) to the OFF position.
