Transporting Machine on Trailer

Be sure that trailer has all the necessary lights and signs required by law.

CAUTION: Avoid injury! Use extra care when loading or unloading the machine into a trailer or truck.

Close fuel shutoff valve, if your machine is equipped.

NOTE: Trailer capacity must exceed combined machine weight and attachment weight. (See Specifications section in operator’s manual.)

  1. Park trailer on a level surface.

  2. Move forward onto heavy-duty trailer.

  3. Lock park brake.

  4. Turn off machine.

  5. Machines with fuel shutoff: Turn fuel shutoff to off position.

    Fasten front of machine at both sides of the front roller at points (A) to trailer with heavy-duty straps, chains, or cables. Straps must be directed down and outward from machine.

    Fasten rear of machine at both sides of the handlebars at points (B) to trailer with heavy-duty straps, chains, or cables. Straps must be directed down and outward from machine.
