Installing Deck

1.

   Turn height-of-cut knob (A) to lowest position.

2. CAUTION: Avoid injury! The machine can fall or slip from an unsafe lifting device or supports.

   • Use a safe lifting device rated for the load to be lifted.

   • Lower machine onto jack stands or other stable supports and block wheels before servicing.

   IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Lift machine at specified points on frame. Using rear bumper as a lift point can damage the frame.

   Lift front of machine with a safe lifting device at the center hole of the foot plate.

3. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

4. NOTE: If installing a rear discharge deck, install shield.

   Place deck under machine.

   Mount PTO shaft (C) on gear box (D).

   Mount PTO shaft (E) on pump (F) using two bolts (G) and nuts.

7. Move deck backward.

8. NOTE: The following procedure must be done on both sides of the machine.

   Install pin (I) through deck and push arm (J) and lock with bolt (K).
