Using Operator Presence Bail

NOTE: When bail (A) is released at any time, the drive clutch and lever (B) will automatically disengage and the aeration head will stop rotating and fully rise.

When key is in STOP position and head is down, the head will rise when key is turned to ON position.

  1. The bail (A) permits engagement of the drive clutch (B), and operation of the aerator engagement switch (C), when squeezed to the handlebar (D).

  2. Hold the bail to the handlebar to allow forward or reverse motion of the machine and to lower or raise the aeration head.
