Selecting Travel Gears

NOTE: When a forward speed is selected, the machine moves in the direction of the operator station.

When in transport, the machine moves away from the operator station.

• Position the gear selector on “5” to move the aerator in transport, away from the operator station. Transport is used to travel to worksites.

• Position the gear selector on “1” through “4” to select a forward aerating speed. Refer to the decal (C) or see Selecting Travel Speed in this section to determine proper operating speed for the current operating conditions.
