Using Aeration Head Transport Stops
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! The machine does not start when the
aeration head is positioned on the transport stops. The aeration head
must be raised completely before starting.

Shut off engine before lowering coring head onto stops to stop
tine action as head is lowered to stops.
NOTE: The transport stops must be in place whenever the machine
is transported on a trailer. The transport stops must be used for
servicing or when stored while not in use.
To Transport

Raise the aeration head completely.

Turn off engine.

Rotate the stops (A) on both sides of the head to the rear
until they align with the depth adjustment brackets.

Turn key to on position (do not start engine).

Engage operator presence bail and drive clutch.

Lower the aeration head manually until the depth adjustment
bracket contacts the stop.

Turn key to off position.

Release bail.
To Operate The Aeration Head

Turn key to on position.

Raise the aeration head and rotate the stops (A) on both
sides of the head forward to rest on the frame.

The machine is now ready to begin coring.
