Using Throttle Solenoid Switch

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! The throttle solenoid reduces engine rpm for approximately three seconds as the aerating head is raised or lowered to the ground to provide optimum hole quality. Engine rpm returns to normal rate when completely up or down.

NOTE: For normal aerating conditions, the throttle solenoid must be in the on (up) position. If desired, shut off solenoid for certain operating conditions where heavier soils exist such as tee boxes and fairways.

1. Use switch (A) to engage or disengage solenoid (B). When the solenoid is disengaged, engine rpm does not change as aeration head is raised or lowered.
