Using TRANSPORT Gear

CAUTION: Avoid injury! Machine movement may speed up as it is being turned. If forward or reverse travel is started with throttle speed set at high rpm, machine movement starts quickly.

  • Avoid sharp turns in transport speed.
  • Begin machine travel with throttle at low rpm. Adjust rpm after machine begins travel.
  • Use caution when maneuvering machine is restricted areas.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Aeration head must be fully raised before starting engine or machine travel. Tine action begins if head is not fully raised.

  1. Raise aeration head completely.

  2. Start engine.

  3. Unlock park brake.

  4. Begin travel with throttle in low position.

  5. Put machine into transport gear.

  6. Increase engine rpm gradually to mid-position or less.

  7. Drive machine to worksite.

  8. Begin aerating.
