Changing Engine Oil and Filter

  1. Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.).

  2. NOTE: Clean the area around the oil filter and dipstick before removing.

    Remove the oil drain plug (A) located at the right front of the machine. Drain oil into a drain pan.



  3. While oil is draining, remove oil filter (B).

  4. Allow ample time for oil to completely drain.

  5. Install oil drain plug and tighten to specification.

  6. Put film of oil on rubber gasket of new oil filter and install filter. Turn the oil filter clockwise until the rubber gasket contacts makes contact. Tighten the filter an additional turn. Do not overtighten the filter.

  7. Fill the crankcase with the proper type oil to the “F” mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.

  8. Start the engine and check for leaks. Correct any leaks to the system before using machine. Check oil level to be sure it is filled to appropriate level.
