Replacing Aeration Drive Belt

  1. Remove aerating cover and cover on right side of machine.

    Remove belt guide (A) from front sheave.


  3. Slide belt off front sheave (B).

    Remove two locknuts (C) and bolts securing aerating head drive shaft to side wall of frame.


  5. Remove blank spacer (D), bearing spacer and outer bearing plate (E).

    Remove drive sheave belt guide (F).


  7. Slide belt (G) off drive sheave and between drive shaft and side wall of frame.

  8. Remove belt from idler and remove from machine.

  9. Install new belt. Reverse steps 2 through 7 above.

  10. Tighten hardware to standard torque.

  11. Adjust belt tension. Install covers.
