Adjusting Park Brake

NOTE: Make brake adjustment in NEUTRAL.

  1. Remove cover from steering handle by removing two screws (A) and plastic nut (B) at key switch.

    To increase brake cable tension: turn top nut (C) several rotations counterclockwise to loosen housing connection. Turn bottom nut (D) to tighten housing (E) to bracket.


  3. Install cover and hardware.

  4. Install park brake handle. Line up set screw with flat surface on handle stud under shifter cover and tighten.

  5. Test brake operation before aerating.
