Using Throttle Mode
NOTE: To allow for proper throttle engagement keep foot off
the accelerator pedal when beginning operation in the throttle mode.

Lock vehicle park brake.

Move gear shift lever to NEUTRAL position.

Start vehicle engine.
Engage Throttle

Move clamp lever (A) to UNLOCKED position (B).

Throttle/governor selector T-handle (C) will drop to lowest
SLOW (t) position.

Pull out T-handle (C) and rotate T-handle to THROTTLE MODE (D)
with pointer (E) facing right. Release T-handle.

NOTE: Use the vehicle tachometer to monitor engine speed. Refer
to each attachment operator’s manual if a set RPM is required
for attachment operation.
Move T-handle to increase engine RPM. Hold selector lever in
position when desired engine speed is reached.

Lower clamp lever (A) to LOCKED position (F).

If the T-handle is moved to the DISENGAGED VERTICAL MODE and
the clamp lever remains in the LOCKED position, the preset position
of the throttle will be maintained.

To resume operation of the vehicle at the preset engine speed,
push down the accelerator pedal to increase RPM. With the assistance
of the vehicle tachometer, increase RPM until the engine speed set
at earlier is surpassed. Return T-handle to THROTTLE MODE and release
the accelerator.
Disengage Throttle

Pull out the throttle/governor selector T-handle (A) and rotate
T-handle to DISENGAGED VERTICAL MODE (pointer up). Release T-handle.

Move clamp lever to UNLOCKED position.

Move T-handle to highest FAST position and hold.

Lower clamp lever to LOCKED position.
