Using Governor Mode
NOTE: To allow for proper governor engagement keep foot off
the accelerator pedal when beginning operation in the governor mode.

Lock vehicle park brake.

Start vehicle engine.
Engage Governor

Move clamp lever (A) to UNLOCKED position (B).

Throttle/governor selector T-handle (C) will drop to the lowest
SLOW (t) position.

Pull out T-handle (C) and rotate T-handle to GOVERNOR MODE (D)
with the pointer (E) facing left. Release T-handle.

NOTE: Use the vehicle tachometer to monitor engine speed. Refer
to each attachment operator’s manual if a set RPM is required
for attachment operation.
Push down accelerator pedal to increase engine RPM.

With accelerator pedal held in place at the desired RPM level,
lower clamp lever (A) to LOCKED position (F).

If accelerator pedal is released, it will return to the raised
position and engine RPM will return to idle.

If the accelerator pedal is depressed, the engine will be restricted
to the set RPM, but will operate at any RPM below the maximum set
by throttle/governor selector.

If T-handle is moved to the DISENGAGED VERTICAL MODE and the
clamp lever remains in the LOCKED position, the preset position of
the governor will be maintained. Return T-handle to GOVERNOR MODE
when operation of the vehicle at the preset RPM is desired.

When set speed is determined, unlock park brake and begin vehicle
travel.
Disengage Governor

Pull out the throttle/governor selector T-handle and rotate
T-handle to DISENGAGED VERTICAL MODE (pointer up). Release T-handle.

Move clamp lever to the UNLOCKED position.

Move T-handle to the highest FAST position and hold.
-
Lower clamp lever to the locked position.
