Removing the Cargo Box Tailgate


Tailgate With Latch Pin With Spring

  1. Close the tailgate and latch both sides.

    Remove two screws (A) and tailgate support plates (B) from each side.


  3. Remove spring locking pin (C) and cable (D) from each drilled stud.

  4. Pull both tailgate latch pins (E) and remove tailgate.

  5. Reverse steps to install tailgate.


Tailgate With Latch Pin Without Spring

  1. Close the tailgate and latch both sides.

    Remove two screws (A) and tailgate support plates (B) from each side.


  3. Remove spring locking pin (C) and cable (D) from each drilled stud.

  4. Pull up and remove each tailgate latch pin (E).

  5. Remove tailgate.

  6. Reverse steps to install tailgate.
