Installing the Cargo Box

1. Park vehicle safely. (See Parking Safely in the Safety section.)

   Remove quick-lock pins and drilled pins stored in brackets (A) at the rear of the vehicle.

3. Carefully position cargo box on top of vehicle frame with a safe lifting device.

     Align cargo box tabs (B) and brackets (A) at the rear of the vehicle.

4. Secure rear of cargo box to the frame with drilled pins (C) and quick-lock pins (D).

5. CAUTION: Avoid injury! Make sure cargo box is safely supported in the raised position before connecting the lift cylinder to the bottom of the cargo box.

   Raise front of cargo box with a safe lifting device.

6. Remove quick-lock pin, cylinder pin and washer stored in the lift cylinder.

7. Start engine.

   Extend the lift cylinder (E) until the holes in the bottom of the cargo box frame and the top of the lift cylinder align.

9. NOTE: Washer must be installed on cylinder pin on same side as quick-lock pin.

   Attach lift cylinder to the cargo box with cylinder pin (F) and quick-lock pin (G) and washer.

10. Disconnect lifting device.

11. Lower cargo box.

12. Stop engine.
