Moving Machine by Hand
CAUTION: When the bypass valve is open, the machine will have
unrestricted motion. • Do not open the bypass valve
when the machine is stopped on an incline to prevent it from going
downhill out of control.
IMPORTANT: Transmission damage may occur if the machine is towed
or moved incorrectly: • Move machine by hand only.
• Do not use another vehicle to move machine.
• Do not tow machine.
NOTE: The bypass valves must be turned fully clockwise (closed)
during normal vehicle operation.
When the machine needs to be moved without starting the engine,
use the bypass valves:
-
Lock the park brake.
-
Lift and secure operator seat platform in the raised position.
-

TCAL43769-UN-21MAR13
Loosen the jam nut (B) on each bypass valve using a 17 mm
wrench. Use an 10 mm wrench to turn both bypass valves (A) counterclockwise
approximately 1/4 turn.
-
Lower seat.
-
Unlock park brake.
-
Push machine to desired location. Due to hydraulic system drag,
machine will move slowly.
-
IMPORTANT: The bypass valves can be damaged if overtightened.
Use care not to overtighten.
To return to service, tighten both bypass valves to specification.
Tighten jam nuts to specification.
