Lubricating Engine Drive Shaft

  1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the Safety section).

    Lubricate grease fittings (A) with John Deere Multi purpose SD Polyurea Grease.


  3. Pump grease into grease fittings until it can be seen seeping from all four bearing caps on the inside of each universal joint and from the shaft coupler.
