Using Variable Clutch Engagement Setting with Front Hitch Installed

Front hitches equipped with an engine driven front PTO have an adjustable engagement setting. Implements with high start up inertia should use lower settings, those with lower start up inertia should use higher settings to provide smooth clutch engagement.

    A - PTO Controller

    Remove dust cap from PTO controller (A).


  2. Use a screw driver to adjust setting to desired engagement time.

  3. 1.Replace dust cover on PTO controller.
