Removing and Installing Battery


Removal

  1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

  2. Raise and secure operator seat.

    Disconnect negative (-) battery cable (A).


  4. Remove red cover (B), and disconnect positive (+) battery cable (C).

  5. Remove rubber strap (D) from frame tab (E).

  6. Remove battery from machine.


Installation

Installation is done in the reverse order of removal.

  • Clean all electrical connections.
  • Tighten cables, install red cover on positive (+) cable, and install rubber strap.
