Moving Machine by Hand (Using the Bypass Pump Release Valves)

When the bypass valve is open, the machine will have unrestricted motion.

• Do not open the bypass valve when the machine is stopped on an incline to prevent it from going downhill out of control.

Transmission damage may occur if the machine is towed or moved incorrectly:

• Move machine by hand only.

• Do not use another vehicle to move machine.

• Do not tow machine.

Both bypass pump release valves must be fully closed (pushed inward towards rear of machine) during normal vehicle operation.

When the machine needs to be moved without starting the engine, use the bypass pump release valves:

  1. Lock the park brake.
  2. Lift operator seat and lock into position.

On both transmissions pull the bypass levers (A and B) forward (towards the front of the machine) to the open position.

  4. Unlock park brake.
  5. Push machine to desired location. Due to hydraulic system drag, machine will move slowly.
  6. Lock park brake.
  7. Push both bypass levers (A and B) back (towards the rear of the machine) to the closed position.
