Faulty engine control unit.

Faulty relay module.

Dead battery

Shorted starter solenoid.

Key switch not turned to “OFF” position.

Component connected to accessory outlet left ON with engine off.

Sulfated or worn out battery.

Low engine speed or excessive idling.

Battery cables and terminals are dirty.

Dead cell in the battery.

Faulty charging system.

Current draw higher than charging system output. (If several attachments are added and used frequently at the same time with the standard charging system. Especially at low engine speeds.)

Correct indicator light(s) do not come on when checking instrument display.
