Checking and Replacing Fuses

Avoid damage! If incorrect replacement fuses are used, the electrical system can be damaged. Replace the bad fuse with a fuse of the same amperage rating.

  1. Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY section.)

    Tilt passenger seat (A) forward.



  3. Remove cover (B).

    860M fuse/relay block shown.

    Pull fuse from the fuse block (C) under seat.

    Check visually for broken filament at location (D) in fuse.



  7. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into proper position in the fuse block.

  8. Install the fuse block cover.

    Locate fuse holder (E) near the battery.



  10. Remove cover (F) and remove fuse (G).

  11. Check for a broken filament in the fuse.

  12. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into fuse holder:

  13. Install cover on the fuse holder.

  14. Lower the seat.
