Checking and Replacing Fuses

Avoid damage! If incorrect replacement fuses are used, the electrical system can be damaged. Replace the bad fuse with a fuse of the same amperage rating.

  1. Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

  2. Open the hood.

  2. Pull fuse from the load center (A).

  3. Look for a broken filament in the fuse. (See Checking Fuse Filaments in SERVICE MISCELLANEOUS section.)

  4. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into correct position in the load center.

  5. Install cover and close hood.

  2. Pull fuse from the load center (A).

  4. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into correct position in the load center.

  5. Install cover and close hood.


Rear Attachment Fuse

  1. Raise cargo box.

    Locate fuse holder (A) on the right rear frame.



  3. Remove cover (B) and remove fuse.

  4. Look for a broken filament in the fuse. (See Checking Fuse Filaments in SERVICE MISCELLANEOUS section.)

  5. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into fuse holder:

  6. Install cover on the fuse holder.

  7. Lower cargo box.


Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) Fuse (If Equipped)

    Locate fuse holder (B).



  3. Remove cover (C) and remove fuse.

  4. Look for a broken filament in the fuse. (See Checking Fuse Filaments in SERVICE MISCELLANEOUS section.)

  5. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into fuse holder:

  6. Install cover on the fuse holder.

  7. Install access panel.


Winch Power Harness Fuse (If Equipped)

  3. Remove cover (C) and remove fuse.

  4. Look for a broken filament in the fuse. (See Checking Fuse Filaments in SERVICE MISCELLANEOUS section.)

  5. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into fuse holder:
