Service the Battery

The battery used is a 12-volt, maintenance-free battery. Charge the battery only if it will not start the mower effectively. Remove the battery from the mower before charging. Follow instructions of the battery charger for proper and safe charging. Always make sure the positive terminal is connected to the positive battery post and the negative terminal is connected to the negative battery post. Reversal could cause damage to the electrical system.
