Replacing Fuse

The electric start circuit is protected by a 20-amp ATC fuse.

Help prevent machine circuit damage. Make sure replacement fuse is the correct size.

  1. Locate and replace the electrical system fuse located near the starter motor.

  2. TCAL47984

    Remove fuse holder cover (A).


  3. Check fuse element in fuse window. Discard fuse if element is broken or shows other signs of damage. Inspect electrical system and wiring for damages and short circuits.

  4. Install new 20-amp ATC fuse in socket.

  5. Install fuse holder cover and ensure plastic locking tab is secure.
