Removing and Installing Front Caster Wheels


Removal

  1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the Safety section.)

  2. The machine can fall or slip from an unsafe lifting device or supports.

    • Use a safe lifting device rated for the load to be lifted.
    • Lower machine onto jack stands or other stable supports and block wheels before servicing.

    Lift front of machine with a safe lifting device.

    Remove hex nut (A) and cap screw (C).


  4. Remove wheel and tire assembly (B) from yoke assembly (D).


Installation

  1. Install replacement tire assembly (B) onto the yoke assembly (D).

  2. Install cap screw (C) and hex nut (A).

  3. Tighten hex nut (A) to specification.
    Hex NutTorque36.6 N·m (27 lb.-ft.)

  4. Lower machine.
