Inspect machine before, during, and after use.

Shutoff engine and allow machine to cool.

Inspect and clean the entire machine and pay special attention to these locations:

1. Top of mower deck and under shields
2. Muffler and exhaust system
3. Pump, screens and shields
4. Engine and engine screens
