Checking and Replacing Fuses

Avoid Damage! If incorrect replacement fuses are used, the electrical system can be damaged. Replace the bad fuse with a fuse of the same amperage rating.

  1. Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY.)

    Open hood (A) to access the storage tray.



  3. Remove fuse box cover (B).

    Pull fuse from the load center (C) under the storage tray.

    Check visually for broken filament at location (D) in fuse.



  7. Push new fuse of the correct amperage rating into proper position in the fuse block.

  8. Install fuse box cover and close hood.
