Stopping the Engine

Avoid injury! Children or bystanders can attempt to move or operate an unattended machine.

Always lock the park brake and remove the key before leaving the machine unattended.

Avoid damage! Do not stop engine immediately after hard or extended operation. Keep engine running at a low idle for a few seconds to prevent heat buildup.

1. Stop machine.

2. Move transmission shift lever to N (Neutral) position.

3. Lock park brake.

4. Turn ignition key switch to STOP position.

5. Remove key.
