Connecting Hydraulic Hoses

Move hydraulic control levers back and forth to relieve hydraulic
pressure.

Avoid injury! Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate
skin and cause serious injury, including gangrene.

Relieve pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other pressurized
lines.

Use a piece of cardboard to search for leaks. Do not expose
hands or body to high pressure fluids.

Tighten all connections before applying pressure.
If machine is equipped with angling kit, disconnect the angling
kit hoses from machine hydraulic ports and either secure to machine,
or remove angling kit from machine.

Route hydraulic chute hoses (A) through ring (B) on hitch
bracket, through hose bracket (C) and then connect to hydraulic outlet
on machine.

Match color on hose with color on machine port and install attachment
hoses in ports.

Route hydraulic lift hoses (A) on inside of hitch bracket
(B) and then through hose bracket (C) as shown by arrows, to eliminate
pinching of hoses when lifting attachment.

Turn lift dial on mower to highest setting to bring mower and
3-point hitch to full-lift position.

If machine is equipped with lockout valve (A), turn valve
clockwise until closed to lockout mower and rear hydraulic implement
lift.
